Violin player, producer, composer, interdisciplinary improvisation coach, who enjoys working in an international and multicultural environment and always looking for exchanges and collaborations between different artists and societies.
Born in Reunion Island, I am travelling the world with my violin. From the Mascarene Islands on the Indian Ocean to Paris, Warsaw, Prague and more (Asia, USA and Africa), I happily joined many bands as an improviser, nourishing my joy to meet people and share as much as possible. I was proud to participate in Festival Au desert 2011 and 2013 in Florence with the Tartit and the Tadalat as a violinist and also as an artistic director in “talking heArts” and “HYBRIS”, two experimental formations focusing on inter-disciplinary improvisation. I am the founding member of J3ZZ, a program series of live performances of contemporary sounds & free improvisation inspired by Hungarian Folk Music.
When not on stage, I enjoy composing soundtracks for films/documentaries and dance shows such as Grecsó Zoltán’s Willany Leó Improvizációs Táncszínház or What Happens When you Touch It from Slovenian dance company ENKNAP. Last but not least, I am also a guitarist, a singer and a songwriter and I work regularly on audio installations. From classical to contemporary music, spoken word, barn rock, bluegrass and pop music, I like to jump from one world to another.
